To protect both our sellers and buyers we take authentication seriously. In the resale market the worst thing that can happen is a buyer discovering they’ve been sold a fake. Counterfeit goods account for roughly 3.3 % of global trade, and superfakes are becoming more sophisticated every year. We work with a leading online authentication 3rd party service that has authenticated more than a million items for customers in 70 countries and secures inventory worth over £1.4 billion. 

Our trusted thrid-party partner platform uses machine learning trained on more than 23 million images of genuine and counterfeit items, enabling it to spot micro‑differences that the human eye misses. 

How Our Authentication Service Works

When you book an authentication with us, your item is examined and captures microscopic images of materials, stitching and logos; those images are analysed and compared against millions of reference points. Within 24 hours the system returns a definitive result - either a certificate of authenticity or a rejection. Each certificate comes with a QR‑coded digital record so buyers can verify the report themselves at any time.

We can authenticate handbags, small leather goods, jewellery and high‑end sneakers. If you have a niche request, let us know and we’ll check whether we can support that category. Our service fee covers the cost of the scan and the certificate, and if an item fails we’ll explain the result and suggest next steps.
